Our Popular Ghost model for the Smith and Wesson 442/340PD/640PD/642 Series guns. Our minimalist design Ghost, allows for an ultra compact, and light weight option to carry one of Americas most popular wheel guns. The holster will shield most of the cylinder and keep it from rotating while holster, meaning the holster acts as sort of a safety mechanism for the firearm. Available with various mounting options - 1.5" overtook, 1.75" overtook, and Adjustable strut and soft loop, which securely buttons around the belt and also allows for belts from 1.5, to 2" just by adjusting the loop.
Notes:
- We do not recommend carrying in this Holster style in a single acton fashion. Hammer should be down in our recommendations.
- We also don't recommend reholstering while the Ghost is attached to the belt.
- Holster is ambidextrous, no "hand" needs to be selected. However if you are a lefty, you may leave note in comments and we can set it up that way when assembled.
- These holsters will NOT accommodate the concealment options at this time either. This allows for the footprint of the holster to be reduced and in our experience the Wing isn't needed for subcompact guns.
- This will fit most 442 models as well as 642 Models. This is partially due to the Lug pattern on these models. Certain things like aftermarket grips or customization of the firearm might render the holster to not function as designed. It is up to the user to use their best judgement and be safe while carrying. It may also work with the 637 model.
- We are working to make this holster accommodate other J-frame models, and various other barrel lengths in the near future.
- This is NOT for the bodyguards series or any other revolver models at this time.
