LEAD TIMES: Almost all orders will need 24-48 hours to process and ship. Shipping times may also very by demand and travel. At this time, we still have other obligations to teaching, travel commitments and other projects which may leave us out of the shop for a week or so at a time. Some items may need to be made to order. If the backlog is too severe we will take items of the site, but we like to leave that opportunity up for those who are patient. If this is a problem, please contact us prior to ordering.
“Does VEIL make custom gear anymore?” – No, at this time VEIL Solutions no longer makes custom kydex gear or products. Our efforts are focused on gear that is already in production and already an established model or design we have offered. Items may still have a lead time associated with them, but it is not a “custom” piece, just possibly a made to order production piece.
“What are the Lead times on Kydex gear?” – Any Custom kydex gear from 2024 will be shipped out before Jan 30. The lead time for the gear ordered in the past was 6-8 weeks. We hope to not have these lead times in 2025 for any products we do offer.
“I didn’t get order confirmation/shipping notification/email response..” – Its possible there is an issue with our updates and new software, maybe we missed it due to travel or are just behind. If it’s not urgent, please give it a day or so for us to work through any problems and then please send another email to The email is not monitored and if you replied to that email, you will not get a response. If I do not respond, please politely send a follow up email.
